Ok, Ive tried to write something about the Ampatuan Massacre these past few days and still there’s no juice coming out. I guess I’m deeply touched with what happened that I can’t find the right words.
I’ve tried to separate myself from the incident and think of it as something that usually happens. And it does happen around the globe. I guess when it happens in your own backyard, the Philippines, it really is a big blow and hard to comprehend.
May the Lord Bless the victim’s souls.
May the perpetrator’s be brought into justice and their souls burn in HELL.
Journalists
Thirty-four journalists are known to have been abducted and killed in the massacre, according to the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Only 25 have been positively identified so far.
